Welcome to the camp of the Alexander Guards. Our unit seeks to share and enjoy the history of our the War Between the States through battle reenactments, living histories, conservation efforts and school presentations.
Established in 1996, we continue to make every effort to field and maintain a cohesive military and family oriented unit. We continually strive to improve our militray and family impressions while maintaining a military appearance in our camp.
In 2007, we launched our falg conservation program to restore the flag of the original Alexander Guards, now housed amoung the historical treasures of the Museum of the Confederacy in Richmond, Virginia. To do this we must raise $22,000.00. We have dedicated ourselves to end. |
